Jess trained at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. She received her license to practice in 2008 after three years training. She is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council , the Acupuncture Childbirth Team (Oxford) and the Acupuncture Fertility Network.
Since graduating, Jess has worked at busy acupuncture practices in Edinburgh and Manchester before deciding to settle in Oxfordshire. In Witney she provides one to one acupuncture sessions and in Oxford she works from home offering more affordable treatment at The Acupuncture Shed and the Women's Acupuncture Clinic, both multi-bed practices.
Continuing professional development is an important part of Jess' work and she regularly undertakes courses that deepen and broaden her acupuncture skills. Jess volunteers with World Medicine, a charitable organisation, which provides complimentary health care to people around the world suffering the effects of trauma, disaster and poverty.
